JetBlue understands that your pet (cat or dog) is part of the family, but we want to ensure that your trip with your four-legged friend is comfortable and has the best conditions on board. This is why the American airline has implemented a pet policy.
JetBlue’s policy regarding the carriage of pets is as follows:
– The weight of an animal combined with its transport cage (which must measure 38″ (17″x12.5″x8.5″)) is limited to 20 pounds.
JetBlue also requires that all pets be up to date with their vaccinations and be kept on a leash at all times while in the airport cabin (they must remain in their carriers).
Fees and cost of transporting pets on JetBlue flights
JetBlue allows customers to bring their pets on board for a fee. The fees applied by the American airline are set at $125 USD per trip.
